Bloomtown: A Different Story TLDR Battle Card Review

Bloomtown is very much a flawed gem, but how much those flaws matter is up to your own taste. For me, the charm of this world, its characters, and its Persona-inspired gameplay far outweighed the blemishes that stem from a small new indie team finding their footing with bringing a passion project to life. Unclear wording can make some things feel more obtuse than they should, compounded by the sting of perma-failing or missable quests, but the sheer joy of getting lost in this summertime adventure isn't one RPG fans should sleep on.
