Nobody Nowhere: TLDR Battle Card Review
Nobody Nowhere is a tightly paced, 2D side scrolling narrative adventure that sits somewhere in the realm of point-and-clicks and visual novels. Following the story of a newly awakened Replicant, made as a part of a program to create vessels for transferring human consciousness and cheating mortality, Nobody Nowhere hits hard and fast with a memorable plot that makes great use of its 3 hour runtime.
The pixel art, sprite work, character portraits, lighting and color scape are a visual delight to explore, accompanied by a surprisingly strong OST. Mini game segments help punctuate the narrative beats and keep you engaged, albeit with a few accessibility issues stemming from some tight QTE windows and incomplete text logs in the absence of voice acting.
But overall, this is an indie gem to put on your radar, especially for a weekend binge or a break between bigger games. To get all the details, you can check out our full spoiler-free review here.
